The full story
Job aspirants staged a protest outside the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) office in Nampally, Hyderabad, on Saturday, October 17, after two major examinations were scheduled on the same date. Protesters gathered outside the commission, chanted slogans, and faced deployment of police forces. The candidates are aggrieved that the TGPSC Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) civil exam for the Roads and Building department clashes with the central-level Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer (SSC JE) exam on November 6, forcing candidates to forfeit months of preparation. Protesters stated they had submitted representations to the TGPSC office over the preceding 10 days without a positive resolution. Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leaders expressed support, urging the government to modify the schedule.
