The full story
An inter-union coalition representing teachers, students, and high schoolers has called for a nationwide day of strikes and demonstrations. According to statements released by the Snes-FSU and other groups, participants intend to pressure the government over what they describe as insufficient measures regarding school staffing, facilities, and higher education access. Organizers also condemned the exclusion of public service workers from upcoming wage discussions called by Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu. The unions urge supporters to amplify the movement, arguing that government responses so far remain inadequate.
