The full story

On November 5, 2026, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) held a rally at the University of Delhi under the slogan 'Stop Anarchy, Embrace Democracy'. The event, described by organisers as a 'Mahakumbh' of student power, drew thousands of participants, including elected student union representatives from Delhi, Punjab, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Odisha, Assam, and the Northeast. The rally was part of a nationwide campaign against alleged attempts by political forces to create unrest and weaken constitutional institutions. Speakers, including ABVP national general secretary Virendra Singh Solanki and DUSU president Yash Dabas, emphasised the importance of working within the constitutional framework and criticised the Opposition for allegedly exploiting issues like the NEET examinations for political gain.
