The full story

Following an inconclusive election in Israel where neither political bloc secured a clear parliamentary majority, thousands of demonstrators rallied in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, and other locations. Participants urged opposition leaders, including Yashar chairman Gadi Eisenkot, to form a coalition government with Arab-majority parties such as Ra'am and the Joint List to oust Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Protesters carried signs calling for partnership and equality, arguing that an alliance between the change bloc and Arab parties would reach a majority of 67 seats in the 120-member Knesset. Meanwhile, right-wing counter-protesters also gathered at Habima Square in Tel Aviv to oppose cooperation with Arab parties and call for new elections, leading police to separate the demonstrations.
