Jammu and Kashmir regional parties and INDIA bloc constituents, including the National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party, joined Congress-led protests in Srinagar and other districts. The demonstrators gathered at the Congress headquarters and attempted to carry out marches, but security forces and police blocked them from accessing main roads. Participants shouted slogans, carried placards, and observed a black day to express opposition to the central leadership and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
